LIFECODES LifeScreen, Class I and Class II ID (Bead-based)

The LIFECODES LifeScreen Deluxe kit and ID kits utilize the multiplex Luminex xMAP platform to screen for the presence of HLA antibodies and identify the specificity of the antibodies in positive samples.

• LifeScreen Deluxe kit contains a set of beads coated with a pool of Class I glycoproteins along with a set of CREG enriched beads. A different set of beads coated with Class II glycoproteins along with a set of CREG enriched beads are also included. LIFECODES Class I ID and Class II ID are made up of a panel of different beads, each coupled with glycoproteins from a different donor or cell line
• Screen patients and reflex only HLA antibody positive sera to ID panels as a means of cost reduction
• Multiple negative control beads (patent pending) allows analysis of samples with high background
• Luminex technology provides flow cytometric sensitivity
• Multiplex reaction reduces labor, consumables and assay time

LIFECODES QuikScreen, B-Screen, Quik-ID Class I and Quik-ID Class II (ELISA-based)

The LIFECODES ELISA antibody products are designed to detect and identify HLA antibodies that can cause the immune destruction of transfused platelets and transplanted allografts. Screening for these antibodies in patient sera offers clinicians the potential to identify compatible blood products and allografts, and to improve patient care.^1,2,3,4
